Wayne W. McAteer President & CEO, Principal
Mr. McAteer has devoted his entire professional career to the lodging and hospitality industry. In 1960, his career began overseeing fifteen hotels with Washington DC based Motel Management Corporation. In 1972, he joined Continental Hotel Corporation in Miami, FL and held the position of Partner and Vice President until early 1988. Mr. McAteer's role included the day-to-day operations of the company and played a major role in development. In addition, he was an integral part of developing the company's philosophy, concepts and setting operating standards. Continental Hotel Corporation started with two hotels and by the early 1980's had a portfolio of 89 upscale to luxury hotels that the company owned, operated and developed.
In the Spring of 1988 Wayne formed his own company, Wesley Hotel Group headquartered in Atlanta, GA where he held the position of President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. McAteer was responsible for the total development and operations of Wesley Hotel Group. The company was positioned to be a third party management company for major institutions such as insurance companies, banks, pension funds, and individual owners. Wesley grew from one hotel in 1988 to 33 hotels by 1992. In 1995, Wesley Hotel Group partnered with Ridgewood Hotels, Inc., a publicly held company, where he held the position of Vice President of Operations.
Mr. McAteer won the IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) Developer of the Year in 2007 for his involvement in developing and opening the first new build for the Hotel Indigo brand in Sarasota, Florida. Mr. McAteer has supported over 75+ developments in his career to include a four diamond resort internationally in Scotland and top award-winning, renowned hotels here in the United States.
Mr. McAteer has the experience in every facet of hotel operations and involvement in both domestic and international markets from hotels and resorts to state of the art conference centers. He is married with a daughter and son, two grandchildren, an alumnus of Worth College in Fayetteville, NC and is a resident of Atlanta, Georgia.

Richard E. Goodrum Executive Vice President & COO, Principal
Mr. Goodrum has over fifteen years in hospitality development, market feasibility, global sales, marketing, and operations management. In the last four years, he has completed numerous feasibility studies to include new urbanism; asset valuations; and hotel business plans for operating and new developments. Mr. Goodrum along with other developers completed a two-year conversion of a former office tower to the 140-room Hotel Indigo Nashville-West End, Tennessee and previously, the first new construction for the Hotel Indigo brand in Sarasota, Florida in Fall 2006 (currently managed by Paradise). Mr. Goodrum acted as a consultant to other Hotel Indigo developments including Nashville Downtown, TN and the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Mr. Goodrum along with Paradise managing partner, Wayne McAteer created the concept and development of the 119-room Foundry Park Inn & Spa-Athens, GA during his four year tenure as a Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing for Ridgewood Hotels, Inc. and Chateau Élan Hotels & Resorts. Mr. Goodrum pioneered sales teams for over 25 hotels ranging from mid-scale to luxury and both independent and franchise affiliated properties. He has solidified brand resource knowledge from Marriott, Hilton, Wyndham, IHG, Starwood, Choice, Best Western, Preferred Hotel s and other prestigious brand affiliations.
Prior to joining Ridgewood, he served two roles for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. One as a National Account Owner representing over 150 properties in corporate travel including Wyndham Garden Hotels, Wyndham Hotels, Resorts and Grand Heritage, Clubhouse Inn & Suites and Summerfield Suites by Wyndham. He also held the title of Director of Sales in Development while opening the Wyndham Memphis Downtown. Mr. Goodrum received the Sales Manager of the Year Award in the Garden Division for his sales initiatives in Nashville, Tennessee.
Mr. Goodrum prides his activity in community and special projects; he has represented himself in organizations such as the Board of Advisors for the Memphis Sports Authority, Tennessee Business Travel Association, Atlanta Metro Travel Association, Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International, and many more. He has developed corporate branding and partnered with well-known businesses and organizations as Coors Brewing, Academy of Country Music Awards, E Channel True Hollywood Story, Coke, Skip Barber Racing, University of Georgia, Memphis Film Commission, Rockhard Films, MTV Networks, Gibson Guitars, FOX Network, and many more.
He has a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
